2021-22 Registration for Grades 4* - 8
Thank you for showing interest in the FIRST Lego League (FLL) Robotics teams of Beavercreek Schools. Learn more below and on the following pages.

The registration deadline has passed, but you can still use this form to be added to the waiting list.  Children of parents that volunteer to coach will be given priority on the waiting list.

Looking for FLL Explore for grades 1-4?  Go to gocreek.org/FLLexplore21

*3rd and 4th graders can participate in either FLL Challenge or FLL Explore.  Challenge is recommended for 4th graders, and Explore is recommended for 3rd graders.  Priority for Challenge teams will be given to 4th-8th graders.
Get ready for an exciting adventure with Beavercreek's Lego Robotics Teams!  This year's FIRST Lego League theme is Cargo Connect.  The program for grades 4-8 is called "Challenge".
The cost for the 2021-22 regular season will be between $70 to $110.  It will be closer to $70 for EVERYONE if participants like YOU find companies willing to donate.  But hurry!  Once teams are assigned, the cost will be finalized and immediately added to your school fees (you'll be notified).
Consider coaching!  You can use this same form to sign up your child AND volunteer to coach.  Every team is required to have at least 2 parent coaches.  With only 5 to 10 kids per team, that's a lot of coaches!  The sooner we have enough coaches volunteer, the faster we can get started.
COVID-19
Teams will follow all Beavercreek Schools rules for team meetings.  For instance, if masks are required at the schools, masks will be required by the participants and coaches at the practices.  Attendance will be reported for contact tracing and quarantining as needed.  Teams will meet both in-person and virtually.  Team meetings are likely to look different at different points in the season.

Ohio Lego League and the Wright Patterson Air Force Base Education Office are in charge of the competitions our teams participate in.  They are planning a combination of virtual and in-person scrimmages and competitions as outlined below.  This could change during the season.

Participating families, please bring a spirit of patience and support as everyone tries to do their best.  We understand if you decide not to participate this year due to concerns about COVID-19 or the uncertainty about the experience of participants.  If so, we can't wait to welcome you back next season.
