🧡🖤 Big leadership vibes at Coy Middle School! 🧡🖤 6th-grader Carter Kehoe had the unique opportunity to step into the role of Coy Principal for a period! 🎓📋 Carter earned this exciting experience by "purchasing" it through the Coy PBIS store—an awesome way to reward positive behavior. While "running the school," Carter got to team up with Assistant Principal Sigmon to see what it's like to be a leader at Coy. We're so impressed by his enthusiasm and leadership skills. Way to go, Carter! 👏 #PBISInAction #CoyPride #OneDistrictOneMissionOneCreek

Beavercreek City Schools is proud to support our military heroes! Recently, Coy Principal Andrea Ferguson had the incredible opportunity to join Lt. Students in ⚕️ Medical Detectives have been working on taking vital signs. 🩺 Nurses Ms. Kathleen Grimm and Ms. Latisha Newport visited the classes in Coy and Ankeney to share the vital signs they take in the clinic and the importance of HIPAA. Students then learned and practiced how to take blood pressure, pulse 💓, temperature, respiratory rate, and blood oxygen levels. Some of the vital signs they were able to take several ways! Amazing!
