December's SHINE award winner for Trebein is 3rd grader Maverick Sorensen in Mrs. Busch's room.  Maverick was nominated for being extremely kind and caring.  He likes to help others in need, works well in groups, and is responsible and trustworthy.  Maverick is an outstanding citizen always looking out for the best interests of others.
