Valley’s SHINE Award
Jonathan Rozama
We are very excited to announce that 1st grader Jonathan Rozama is Valley’s March recipient of the SHINE award for the 2023-2024 school year. Our Character Education program is a key component to helping our students understand what it means to lead and to be good citizens. Every month, we honor one student who consistently demonstrates two or more pillars of character which are: Citizenship, Caring, Trustworthiness, Fairness, Respect, and Responsibility. To recognize these students for their efforts, Beavercreek City Schools has created the “SHINE Award – Highlighting Outstanding Students of Character.”
This is how Jonathan’s teacher, Mrs. Lutter, describes him: “Jonathan is an outstanding student of character! Jonathan shines in our classroom and school with his quiet and humble spirit that is an example for others to follow. I can always count on Jonathan to be responsible for taking care of his belongings and putting supplies exactly where they go! Jonathan is trustworthy of doing his work and is so focused on the task at hand! Without me asking, he will pull books out of his reading bag and write about them! Jonathan is a wonderful example of being a kind, patient friend, and the world needs more Jonathans to brighten our days!”
You are amazing, Jonathan! Great Work!
