Beavercreek City Schools will host four Community Forums this school year. These events enable families, friends, and community members to gain a deeper understanding of important topics and pose questions. Mark your calendars for:

October 21 – School Funding, 6:00–7:30 p.m. at Main Elementary
December 4 – Cybersecurity, 6:00–7:30 p.m. at Main Elementary
January 27 – Curriculum Open Book Night, 5:30–7:00 p.m. at Coy/Trebein Commons
March 12 – Facilities and Capital Planning, 6:00–7:30 p.m. at Main Elementary

Meet Gale Jones, a dedicated member of our Student Nutrition team who has proudly served Beavercreek City Schools for 27 years!

Meet Julie Fischer, a dedicated Social Worker at Fairbrook Elementary! She joined the district in November 2023 and became part of the Fairbrook team in February 2024.

For 21 years, Jenny Dufresne has been a vital part of our district, serving as an Administrative Assistant at the Preschool. Her passion for helping others led her to this career, where she enjoys interacting with students and supporting families.

Meet Tim Green, a dedicated Social Studies Teacher at Beavercreek High School, where he has been inspiring students for 16 years! A 2003 BHS alum, Tim returned to his alma mater to share his passion for history and help students reach their goals.

Meet Lori Greenspan, the BHS Kitchen Manager, and proud BHS Class of 1988 alum! 🧡🖤What started as a part-time job while her kids were in school turned into a career she loves, thanks to the energy of the School Nutrition Department and the amazing people in the district.

For the past five years, Marissa Wheeland has been making a difference as a 1st-grade teacher at Shaw Elementary! Inspired by her parents—both educators—Mrs. Wheeland developed a passion for teaching at an early age.

Meet Amanda McQuade, a dedicated Preschool Special Needs Assistant at Parkwood Elementary! Amanda began her journey with Beavercreek City Schools as a substitute in 2015 and was hired full-time in the 2019-2020 school year.

Meet Kathy Rutledge, a dedicated third-grade teacher who has been making a difference at Valley Elementary for the past 10 years! Kathy was inspired to pursue a career in education by her own third-grade teacher, who created a safe and caring space for students.
