Over the past ten years, cell phones have consistently proven to be a distraction to students in the classroom. From the numerous notifications on their phone to the constant urge to check their phones in class, cell phones have consistently been cited by teachers and educational experts as a major cause of student distraction and inattention in class.

Starting with the 2024-2025 school year, Beavercreek High School and Ferguson Hall Freshman School will be using Yondr Pouches.

Schools that have adopted a cell phone policy of using Yondr pouches have reported:

• an increase in face-to-face student interactions with their peers

• a decrease in misbehavior and physical altercations

• an increase in student morale and positive feelings toward school

• an increase in classroom engagement

• near universal approval and support from teachers and staff
