Congratulations to BHS' November Shine Award Winner, Kitty Macbeth who was nominated by Mrs. Hess. Mrs. Hess stated that Kitty is a joy to have in class because she is always engaged but what really stands out is her character toward other students. She is always respectful and caring towards students. Kitty always shows the character pillars in her day to day interactions making her a phenomenal young adult! Thanks Kitty - keep up the great work at BHS!!

The BHS Speech Team continues to excel! They traveled last weekend to Olentangy Liberty HS in Columbus. Exciting results came in, with the entire team improving their ranks and placements and many new students placing higher than ever for the first time!
- Juniors Rohan Joshi and Addison Rodabaugh were the top first-year speakers in their events!
- Freshman Matthew Blackman placed 2nd in Dramatic Interp
- Junior Frida Lozano placed 3rd in US Extemp
- Sophomore Saha Teegala placed 2nd in US Extemp
- Junior Nate Housknecht won Informative with perfect ranks. This is Nate's second year with perfect ranks at the Olentangy tournament!
Beavercreek is staying home but staying busy this weekend. They are hosting Ohio's only full 2-day tournament with teams coming from Columbus, Akron, Canton, and West Virginia. Wish them luck in competing and hosting as they end their first semester strong!


Parents & students in 6-11th grades interested in taking CCP courses next year must attend an informational meeting. An in-person meeting will take place on Tuesday, January 23rd, in the BHS Auditorium at 6:30 pm, or a virtual meeting can be accessed at https://tinyurl.com/CreekCCP

BHS and FH Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, November 2nd from 3:30 - 7:00 pm. Teachers may also be holding conference hours starting October 23rd through November 3rd in addition to the November 2nd time frame. This form must be completed prior to receiving your Unique Code for your ticket purchase from Ticket Spicket. Tickets must be purchased by tomorrow (Fri. 9/29) evening at 11:59 pm. If you / your student hasn't purchased their ticket for Homecoming - TODAY IS THE DAY!!!!!

Wednesday, September 20 is Picture Day for ALL grade levels. Look your best and wear your brightest smile!
All Seniors should have their photo taken on Wednesday. Seniors, this will ensure that you are included in the yearbook and senior composite. If you have a photo taken at one of the other board-approved studios, it can be switched out for this photo in the yearbook if you prefer.
