Intramural Program Kickoff Success! ⚽🎉 Last week marked the exciting launch of our Intramural Program, and what a start it was! We hosted an exhilarating soccer penalty kick contest in the Ferguson Hall Multi-Purpose Room, with talent and enthusiasm shining through every kick. 🔬🧬 Exciting things are happening at Beavercreek High School with our new Biomedical Science Pathway! Students in the Principles of Biomedical Science class were tasked with investigating a mysterious incident that occurred during class. Officer Unroe initially secured the scene before handing it off to the students to analyze and determine the cause and circumstances surrounding the event. 🕵️‍♀️🔍 This hands-on experience is a thrilling way for students to dive into real-world biomedical science!

🐾 Happy National Dog Day! 🐾 Meet two of our beloved furry friends who make a big impact at our schools! Sasha is the loyal partner of our Chief Security Officer, Chris Williams. Together, they help keep our students, staff, and facilities safe and secure every day. 🛡️ Ruby is a certified therapy dog who brings comfort and joy to our school community. A big shout out to Mr. Jason Enneking for inspiring Mrs. Jennifer Schmidt, our Creek Teacher Academy instructor, to challenge students to identify teachers who have impacted their lives. These students are all in the second course of our Education in Training Pathway. On staff opening day, Mr. Enneking was announced as the 2024 Outstanding Educator of the Year. In his speech, he shared how teachers at BCS impacted his educational journey. Mr. Enneking is a proud BHS graduate. More exciting news from our Beavercreek High School Air Force JROTC program! ✈️ What was the highlight of your summer vacation? For Cadet Caleb Kjar and Cadet Wesley Stephen, it was successfully soloing an airplane! ✈️ Both cadets earned the prestigious Daedalians Flight 9 Flight Scholarship, each valued at $5,000. These scholarships covered ground school and flight hours up to their solo flights. We're incredibly proud of Caleb and Wesley for their dedication and hard work this summer.
