We want to thank everyone for another fantastic Fairbrook Science Fair. Our judges from the Air Force Institute of Technology and Air Force Research Laboratory were very impressed by the presentations, the diversity of topics, and most importantly- Our Students! More than one judge commented on how our students presented themselves better than the high schools they visited in our area. Amazing!
We had 79 students participating in this year's Science Fair; 56 received a Superior Rating, and 23 received Excellent Ratings from our judges. A range of points could be awarded with SUPERIOR: 40-35 points; EXCELLENT: 34-28 points; GOOD: 27-20 points; and FAIR: 19 and below. Perfect Scores/Near Perfect Scores (40/39.5) were awarded a Gold Medal. Scores of 35-38 were awarded a Silver Medal. All student participants are given a certificate and a ribbon for their participation. These results reflect the time and effort every participant put into their project.
