🔬 Science in action with Mrs. Bisignani's Medical Detectives class! 🧠
Students dissected chicken wings to explore muscles (biceps/triceps), bones (ulna, radius, humerus), tendons, and ligaments. Just like a human arm, the students could manipulate the muscles and tendons to make the "arm" move!
One of the biggest surprises? When students cut into the bone and discovered bright red bone marrow—because that’s where red blood cells are made! 🩸
Hands-on learning at its best! 🧡

🔬🌿 Science in action with Mr. Tate and Mrs. Hickey's 7th-grade classes!
Our Coy Middle School young scientists dove into food webs and energy flow, sharpening their analytical skills with hands-on learning. They adapted food webs to natural disasters, 🌪️ studied wildlife comebacks, like wolves in Yellowstone, 🐺 Beavers in Beavercreek, 🦫 and examined the impact of our recent drought 💧
Real-world connections and critical thinking at work! 🌎💡 #ScienceInAction #7thGradeScience #BeavercreekSchools #STEM

Some of our Parkwdoo preschoolers have been learning all about camping—what to pack, fun activities to do, and everything in between. As a special treat, Ms. Bamford made a surprise visit to the afternoon preschool class because they sold the most mums for the preschool program! 🎉
